Our Initiatives
Stories and support in action
From illustrated narratives to hands-on care packages, our programs turn empathy into tangible community impact.
Cove of Stories
Illustrated immigrant narratives
Cove of Stories is a storytelling initiative that highlights immigrant and refugee voices through illustrated narratives that explore identity and belonging. Each story is developed collaboratively by writers and illustrators, turning personal experiences into accessible digital books shared with a global audience.
The project exists to close the gap between lived experience and understanding. Many immigrant stories are shared in fragments or never shared at all, which can make it harder for people to feel seen. By turning these narratives into visual stories, Cove of Stories builds empathy across cultures while also giving contributors a structured space to reflect on their own journeys.
So far, the series has reached hundreds of readers across multiple countries, with continued growth as new stories are published and shared through community partnerships.
Care Package Drives
Tangible mental health support
Care Package Drives focuses on delivering tangible mental health support to children and families navigating displacement or financial hardship. The initiative brings together volunteers to assemble and distribute care packages filled with comfort items, hygiene supplies, and small personal notes of encouragement.
Medical treatment addresses physical needs, but emotional well-being is often overlooked. These care packages aim to fill that gap by creating moments of comfort during difficult experiences. Even small gestures of care can reduce stress and help patients feel less alone.
Each drive is coordinated with partner organizations to ensure resources reach communities that need them most, with a growing emphasis on sustainability and long-term support systems rather than one-time distribution.
